Faculty, staff, and students kicked off a memorable week of pledges to be drug-free. Daily themes such as: Proud to be Drug-Free, Peace Out to Drugs, Team Up Against Drugs, Lei Off Drugs, and Our School Chooses to Be Drug-Free, encouraged students’ participation in this nation-wide campaign. The Red Ribbon door decorating contest will be the culminating event with winners being announced Friday. Students also participated in a school supply drive to assist victims of Houston Independent School District. The balloon ensemble at the entryway of the school reminds students that their lifelong pledges will keep them safe throughout their lives. Fourth-grade students in Victoria Ceaser’s class share the spirit of celebrating wise choices to be drug-free. We are drug-free and proud to be!
